Our last post about hot iPhone camera apps to capture the city got such a positive response, we thought we would share 3 more of our new favorite, fun apps to shoot Buenos Aires in the summer. The right app can add a lot to a great iPhone pic and they can be loads of fun to play around with and get the creative juices flowing. Here are three apps we’ve enjoyed trying out…
Similar to Over, the app we shared in our last post, PicLab HD also allows you to add cool looking text over your favorite iPhone photos, but we decided to include it in this post as well because it also has a few cool features that Over does not.
PicLab HD allows you to add transparent borders, shapes, overlays, textures, and light-leaks to your photos giving it a really cool vibe and allowing you to completely customize your photo to achieve the look you want. The app also includes lots of filters and editing tools to adjust brightness, contrast, exposure, saturation, and the blur level of your pic.
If you’re a big fan of Photoshop and editing your photos after the fact, you’ll be happy to know that Photoshop Touch from Adobe is now available on iPhones and Android phones. It was previously only available on tablets, but now the photo editing giant can be used on a user friendly iPhone app that includes many of the features of normal Photoshop.
GoldfrApp is an app made by electronic music artists, Goldfrapp (go figure), but it has nothing to do with music. The app allows you to combine two photos to create a double exposure image. We think this one probably will take some practice to get really great images, but once you have it down, you have the potential to make something really cool and original.
Alright, it’s summer and it’s gorgeous outside, so we’re not going to waste anymore of your time. Get out there and start shooting!
